Wild Dinner

The sun had cooled down already when they arrived at Yesung's coffee shop. The warm breeze joined them when Yesung opened the door for Ara. As soon as they stepped in, those who had glimpse on Yesung, couldn't conceal their mirth. Having Yesung to open the door for her, Ara felt so special. They chose to occupy the seat in the corner, leaning the glass window. That was Ara's favorite spot in the place, so she could see people passing by.

Outside, she saw an old couple with their hands locked together. She felt happy and envious at the same time, as Rihanna's Where Have You Been, played on her mind. The song ceased when Yesung appeared holding a tray of tea and slices of banoffee pie.

"I wonder what you must be thinking." Yesung said as he served the tea.

"Life is unfair." Ara muttered, her hand cupped one side of her face supported by her elbow rested on the table. Her eyes were still locked on the couple. Yesung noticed it.

"Director Seo, I never thought you were such a drama queen." Yesung hissed and took a sip of his tea. "Let me see your hand." Ara gave her hand outright, thinking Yesung would practice his fortune telling skills. However, it surprised her that Yesung entwined his fingers around hers, caressing the back of her hand with his thumb. "Now, Arasseo, tell me if life is still unfair?" he said and winked.

However, it didn't last. Ara's phone rang. It was Heechul.

Kibum was sitting on the sofa while waiting for Kini to get dressed. He asked her out to watch a movie. Sungjoon joined him there, on his peripheral vision, he knew that Sungjoon was intently looking at him, scrutinizing his face.

"What time is the movie supposed to end?" Sungjoon asked, breaking the silence.

"Why?" Kibum asked him back, not even turning his face to meet Sungjoon's eyes.

"I'm just asking. If night comes and we feel sleepy, we lock the door and don't open it until morning." Sungjoon replied, his gaze were scorching,  Kibum smirked.

"Kini can stay at my house." Kibum answered nonchalantly.

Sungjoon was baffled with his attitude towards Kibum. It was strange for him to dislike a person on their first meeting. Kibum was an exception.

"Kibum oppa!" Kini called, she managed to twirl around to show her dress to Kibum.

"You're always pretty. Let's go?" Kibum told her and stood up. He didn't even say anything to Sungjoon, acting like he didn't exist. It infuriated the latter, but no choice but to be patient. If only I could smack you in the face with no apparent reason. Instead, he vented it to Kini.

"Jang Kini, come home early, you still need to wash the bed sheet!" said Sungjoon and had gone before the two could go. Kini could only hissed at him, she wanted to say something to Sungjoon but she had to maintain her poise.

Outside, Sungjoon's phone rang. It was Heechul. When the two came out, he blocked the way, and grinned. "Jang Kini, I'm afraid you couldn't come with him. Hyung just called, we need tomeet him somewhere. Urgent. When I say we, Sungjoon and Kini. No third wheel." He said smugly.

His arms were wrapped around her waist, the same as her hands on his neck. They were kissing each other passionately, and professionally? Her feelings were spilling over, she loved the sensation that his kiss had brought to her. Suddenly, the visage of Donghae smiling flashed through her. This is wrong! She stopped, pushing Siwon from her.

"Why?" Siwon asked, he wanted more. Helen felt the same but felt abashed. She couldn't look him in the eye.

"The script told me to stop... let's just finish this." Helen said and picked the towel to dry the plates. Then her phone rang. It was Donghae. Her reply was all monosyllabic, Donghae's voice made her feel all the guilt in the world. At the end of their conversation, she said I love you. Siwon heard it.

"Gongju, about the-" But Helen cut him.

"It's nothing, we're professionals." Helen said coldly. Then his phone rang. It was Heechul.

---------------------------

They had left the cemetery before the sun set. Yet, Heechul's surprises didn't end there. He covered Suri's eyes with a blindfold and guided her to a room.

"Ready?" Heechul asked, she just nodded and removed the blindfold. Suri squinted her eyes upon the first exposure to the light. When she got a clear view of the room, she hugged Heechul in surprise.

"Welcome back!!!" Super Junior members and chocoballs greeted them, and showered her with confetti. Balloons were scattered around the place. Then a hand covered her eyes again, Suri held the hand away from her eyes and turned her back. It was Helen. She just arrived with Donghae.

"Gongju!" Suri exclaimed and almost jumped out of joy. "I miss you!" She said, tears of joy streamed down her face.

"I want to join!" It was Ara, she just arrived with Yesung. Their arrival sparked some secret discussion among Super Junior members. Except for one. Siwon, who was sulking in one corner.

"Okay, let's start this night with a bang!" Heechul said and opened a bottle of champagne.

They were in a private dining room in a Korean restaurant. They were served with scrumptious Korean meal, nothing but the best prepared by the number 1 chef in the field of gastronomy in Korea. A great dinner could offset the absence of a ring, this was what Heechul thought.

"Suri ssi, it's the first time Hyung bought food for us. Make another comeback!" Kyuhyun said, struggling how to manage all the food on her plate. Suri laughed at him and wrapped a lettuce on a bulgogi stripe and fed it to Kyuhyun, who sat across her. She was always fond of him.

"Jang Suri, how could you feed him and just letting me eat by myself?" Heechul complained. He gave Kyuhyun a deadly stare.

"Because I want to." Suri averred, and made another wrap, this time she fed it to Ryeowook, who was sitting next to Kyuhyun.

"I want too!" Shindong and Hyukjae said, and showcased their aegyo to Suri.

"Stop!" Heechul shouted and stood up. His temper got the better of him again, but he had an announcement to make so he sit down and gulped the glass of water next to him straight. Sungmin tried to change the mood by changing the topic.

"Gongju ssi, I heard you will work with Siwon."

"Ya, ya, ya! It was supposed to be Geunseuk, but he met an accident." Honki chimed in.

"Wouldn't you get jealous, Donghae?" Leeteuk asked and looked at Siwon, who was beside him. Donghae smiled and pulled Helen closer to him, giving her a peck on the cheek.

"I trust them." He said and all the people in the room cheered. It suddenly stopped when the door opened, Kini and Sungjoon emerged from it.

"Kini-ya, sit here." Suri said, tapping the seat beside her. Kini obediently followed and Sungjoon occupied the seat next to Simon D.

"Since you're all here. I and Suri have something to tell you, guys." Heechul said, checking if he had all their attention. "We're getting married." he continued. Everyone was quiet at first, and when the news had sunk in, noise filled the room.

Ara and Helen approached Suri to hug her, telling how happy they were for her. After that, Suri faced her younger sister, Kini, who was more surprised than anyone else in the room. She hugged Suri tight, she couldn't explain her feelings, soon she was crying, resting her head on Suri's shoulder.

"Awww... she's not yet ready to share her sister." Ara remarked and everyone else in the room had thought so, except for Sungjoon.

"Stop crying, stop crying. Eonni will still be here for you, you will just have Heechul as your brother, you like that right?" Suri tried to comfort her, smoothing her back but Kini cried even harder. Sungjoon was looking at her emphatically.

-----------------------------

Four things happened that night...

Heechul and Suri were very happy. Super Junior members even sang Marry U for them.

Helen spent the night in Donghae's arms. In her peripheral vision, Siwon barely touched his food, feeding his stomach only Soju.

Ara sit beside Yesung. Yesung would hold her hand secretly under the table. And she would let him.

Kini was sad. She didn't know why. One thing was for sure, it was not about Suri marrying Heechul. Could it be Heechul marrying Suri? Sungjoon only knew.
