Wild Night

The night was still young when they had called the party to end. Outside the restaurant, one could see the streets made busy by the streetlights parallel to the stars that blotted out in the perforated sheet of darkness. There was a pang of delight, seeing so many stars that night gathering around the nail-tip of the moon. Then, a car coming from a total darkness came to them, showering lights on their bodies. It stopped. The shoe greeted them at first, in one swift movement, the driver revealed his identity.

"Kibum!" Leeteuk was startled seeing him again. It had been three years when he last showed up. Kibum just smiled at him, he crouched down to get something from the car and closed it after. It was a bouquet of red roses. Then, he walked to their direction, walked past Kini and halted when he was facing Suri.

"For you. I have learned that your name means red rose. Congratulations on your engagement. Hyung." His eyes were nailed on Suri, she wondered if he had plans to blink. It made her uncomfortable.

"Thank you." This was all Suri could say, when Heechul grabbed her hand and dragged her away.

"Let's go."

"Kim Heechul, Kibum-" she said, totally clueless with Heechul's behavior towards Kibum. The scent of the roses enthralled her that she kept on looking back, with her eyes searching for Kibum, apologetic for Heechul. Until she couldn't see him anymore, she was inside the car already and Heechul started its life in haste.

"Heechul, why did you act like that?"

"That kid. He would just show up if he feels like it. Lets not talk about him, I want to show you something." said Heechul and the restaurant became distant.

----------------------------

They just remained still, watching the car got smaller and smaller until it was gone. Its presence might suppress their voices, as soon as it was no longer in sight, Leeteuk spoke.

"Kibum, what a surprise! You should have told me you're coming." Kibum just shrugged his shoulders, and smirked.

"Who's game for a drink? My treat!" added Kibum,  and hands started to wave aloft. He noticed Kini's was not one of them, he turned to face her. "Kini ssi, there's something for you in the backseat, could you get it? Kini just nodded, still not herself. She opened the backseat door, and found one long-stemmed pink rose. She went back to Kibum, handing him the rose.

"Ya, why are you giving that back? Its for you." Kibum said and Kini got back to her senses. "You look sad, aren't you happy your sister getting married?" Kini just looked at him, smiling with a painful eye. "Me too."

"What?" It woke up her completely from her musing. She didn't expect coming that from Kibum.

"Just kidding. Suri deserves to be happy, lets go? Kini acquiesced halfheartedly to Kibum's invitation. She just wanted to sulk herself in her room, but drinking would be helpful to forget. Her eyes surveyed the place for one last time. Sungjoon had already gone.

-----------------------------

Kibum brought them to a nightclub, where he must have been a loyal patron. Girls would call him Oppa, and the staff had readied a spot for them. Chocoballs left when Heechul had thrown his tantrum. Only the Super Junior members and the three girls granted Kibum's invitation for a drink.

They were seated in a semi oval couch, smelled of mixed air freshener and hard liquor. Donghae and Helen occupied one end while Siwon occupied the other end, maintaining an occasional eye contact with Helen. The rest stepped on the dance floor as soon as they entered the club, including Yesung and Ara. Leeteuk, Ryeowook, Sungmin, Kibum and Kini chose to stay with them, and enjoyed some drinks.

Soon, flock of girls approached them, a girl in a skimpy clothing sit beside Siwon, and fiddled with his hair. She tried to start a conversation with him, pouring his glass with whiskey from time to time. Helen unconsciously would do the same for Donghae, who was a bit surprise for his girlfriend sudden display of affection. Then, the girl wrapped herself on Siwon, her lips searching for his. All Helen could do was to drink her mojito in one gulp.

"Leeteuk hyung, who would have thought Heechul would marry first. You must take dating now seriously." Ryeowook bantered, the drinks made him frisky.

"I know, I know! Don't have to tell me that." replied Leeteuk, pulling closer the anonymous girl beside him.

"Donghae ssi, have you talked about this kind of stuff with Helen? You've been dating for years. Don't wait for someone to take her away from you. Jerks are all over Seoul these days." Sungmin chimed. He just ended his three- year relationship because of a third party. Siwon almost choked on his drink when he heard it. No one paid attention, except for the girl, and Helen inconspicuously.

"Sungmin, Gongju won't do that to me." Donghae searched for Helen's eyes for a guarantee. Helen looked at him, and smiled, blankly.

"Ya, Kini ssi. That's enough. You drink too much." said Kibum, he took away the bottle from Kini who, after some babbling, lost her consciousness, banging her head lightly on the table. "Aigoo... I'll send her home.."

"No, you stay here. She's going home with me." It was Sungjoon appearing from out of nowhere. Making his way to Kini, hanging her arms on his shoulder, and supported her waist. They went out of the bar, Sungjoon almost carrying her.

"Looks like, you have a challenger." Ryeowook told Kibum, nudging his elbow. Kibum just smirked and summoned another girl to replace Kini's seat.

------------------------------

On the dance floor, Ara was enjoying the attention Yesung had given her. She let loose of herself, shaking her body in the rhythm of party music, it was such a stress reliever. She saw Kyuhyun snogging some girl on the floor, Eunhyuk was surrounded by girls, it seemed like they had created a dance contest in their own world. Shindong left the dance floor immediately when Nari called him, his girlfriend. Different sets of lights blinded her, she let Yesung hands to guide her. His hands were on her waist, their bodies were so close, only  clothing set them apart.

Then, she saw Yesung dancing with another girl. How could that be if he was so close to me? Ara turned around to see a  defined silhouette of a man. One thing for sure, it wasn't Yesung. Soon enough, the lights became more friendly to her, and she was able to picture the man.

"Kai?!!!"
